Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of this website and to requesting an estimate from Mitten Made Lawn Services. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use it.

About this website

This site provides information about our lawn care and property maintenance services and lets you request an estimate. Nothing on it is a binding offer of service, a guaranteed price, or a contract.

Estimates

Estimates are free and carry no obligation. Requesting one does not create a service agreement, and neither does our responding to it.

We provide pricing only after visiting and inspecting the property in person. Any figure discussed before that visit is a rough indication, not a quote. A written estimate applies to the scope of work described in it and to the condition of the property at the time we saw it. If conditions change materially — for example the lawn becomes significantly overgrown, or you ask for additional work — we may need to revise the estimate, and we will tell you before doing any extra work.

Estimates are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise.

Services and scheduling

Service schedules are our best effort and depend on weather, equipment, and site access. We do not mow saturated turf, because doing so damages both the grass and the soil. When weather delays us, we service your property on the next workable day.

You are responsible for providing reasonable access to the property, including unlocking gates and securing pets. If we cannot access the property on a scheduled visit, we may treat it as a completed visit for billing purposes.

Please tell us about anything hidden in the turf or beds — sprinkler heads, invisible fence lines, cables, stakes, or septic components. We take reasonable care, but we cannot be responsible for damage to unmarked items we could not have known about.

Payment

We currently accept cash only. Payment is due on completion of each service unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We will let existing customers know directly if we add other payment methods.

Cancellation

Standard residential maintenance runs on an ongoing basis with no contract, and you may stop at any time. We ask for reasonable notice — ideally before your next scheduled visit — so we can adjust the route.

Larger seasonal cleanup projects and commercial accounts are covered by a separate written scope of work, and that document governs cancellation for those jobs.

Availability of services

We serve Genesee County, Michigan. Services listed on this site may change, and services marked “coming soon” are not currently available. Snow removal is not yet offered. Aeration and overseeding are not currently offered.

Photography

We may photograph completed work for our portfolio. Photographs show the property only — never your name, street address, or any personal information. Tell us if you’d prefer we not photograph your property and we won’t.

We try to keep this site accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is error-free or complete. Content may change without notice. The text, design, and graphics on this site belong to Mitten Made Lawn Services.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law, our liability arising from services performed is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

This website is provided “as is”. We are not liable for losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version always appears on this page with its last-updated date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
